Why did I start a blog? A few reasons.
I like to take photos and share them with friends and family. I’m not looking for fame or fortune. I don’t care about likes and follows. I just want to keep it simple so my audience can see a small slice of what I see. I used to enjoy using Facebook and Instagram. But now days, there’s too much nonsense and noise for my tastes. So, you’ll see new photos from time to time – in fits and spurts.
Sharing ideas and getting feedback
From time-to-time I like to share my thoughts so I can be challenged by a broad audience to help me refine opinions and my thinking process.
I have eclectic tastes in music and film. I like hip-hop, country, jazz, and some classical music. I really enjoy the modern episodic television vis-à-vis Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV+. There’s so much incredible content out there now. Better than ever in my humble opinion.
I read and listen to a lot of books. I also devour some amazing podcasts. So you’ll see some of my recommendations here.
Then there will be restaurants, art galleries, and products.
Starting in 2020, I am going to commit to at least one recommendation per week. Since I’m pretty sure there are quite of few people out there who share overlapping interests with me, I’ll venture to guess that my audience will view my recommendation as curated nuggets of value. Selfishly, I’m hoping that a little giving will help me receive reciprocating recommendations from you all.
